When leaving the country of visit

• Do not bring restricted items without written consent from the appropriate authorities.
• Refuse to accept packages for inclusion in your luggage from strangers. As a minimum precaution, the contents of the package should be thoroughly examined because it may contain illegal substances. If in any doubt, politely refuse.
• Put aside some money for the possibility that you may need to pay the airline to carry baggage in excess of your weight allowance.

Always allow plenty of time for your journey to the airport especially in countries, which are prone to traffic jams. Arriving late to find the airport check-in deck closed causes ill feeling and you will miss your flight.
