The enormous diversity of fish in Colombia favors this sport. In the Gulf of Tribugแ on the Pacific Coast, the visitor can experience the emotion of fishing for marlin, and in the Caribbean sea bream and grouper. On lakes and rivers inland, you can fish for catfish and cachama (a local fresh water species) and take part in trout fishing competitions.
